Mural 1 : Building the Garden of Today
In this mural, Mother Nature is constructing our communal garden. She finds herself submerged in a book found at the Baldwin Public Library. She symbolizes the desire for growth and connection within our shared environment. The terms used in the design highlight the collaborative aspect required to cultivate and sustain a thriving “community”. I invite everyone to reflect on the importance of nurturing relationships with one another and with the earth. We have a responsibility to foster harmony and reciprocity within our community.

Mural 2 : Planting the Garden of Tomorrow
In this mural, I explore the idea of growth and renewal. This artwork depicts astronauts planting flowers in the Space Garden. As two astronauts tend to the flowers in the garden, a third reaches out to grasp a flower drifting gracefully through space. This moment captures the essence of exploration and discovery, as we reach out to connect with a world beyond our confines. I aim to emphasize a sense of wonder and admiration for the mysteries of the universe, while also underlying our responsibility to our world and guardian of its future.
